Camperships
Assistance is awarded without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. Scholarships are available to day campers and residential campers for one session of camp per calendar year.
These funds are available due to the generous donations from supporters and friends of Phantom Lake YMCA Camp.
Strong Kids Campership Application Process:
Complete Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Registration Form—please register online at www.phantomlakeymca.org. When you get to the payment section, choose that you will pay by check.
Complete the Financial Assistance Application. It must be filled out COMPLETELY. Nothing can be left blank (one form per family).
Include a copy of your most recent Fed Income Tax Statement (Only Pages 1 and 2 are needed) and 2 payroll check stubs with this application.
Mail in the Financial Aid form, paystubs and tax information within 14 days of submitting the camper application.
Write a deposit check payable to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp: $50 for resident camp programs, $25 for day camp programs

What to Expect:
Executive Director, or a designee, based on a confidential review of the Financial Assistance Application, will determine financial assistance eligibility and you will be notified within 2 weeks of receiving your completed paperwork and deposit. Deposit checks will not be cashed until we have finished processing your request and have reached an agreeable scholarship amount. The YMCA reserves full right to refuse any applicant.

Multiple Session Discount - Residential Camp Program
There is a $50 Multiple Session Discount that will be automatically calculated at the end of the application. The tiered pricing options will show when you choose a session.
Sibling Discount - Day Camp Program
We will deduct $50 for any additional sibling attending any session. We apply discounts manually after we receive the registration.
Refund Policies
Residential Camp
All camp fees including the deposit are Non-Refundable. A Non-Refundable Deposit of $125 per child, per session, is required with registration and will be credited toward the camp fee. All cancellations must be done in written email to the business manager.
If cancellation is made before May 1, all paid fees will be held as credit on your CampInTouch account.
If cancellation is made on May 1 or after, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain 50% of all paid fees and credit the remaining 50% to your CampInTouch account.
In the event of cancellation due to misconduct or homesickness, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain 100% of the session fee.
If camp closes, full credit will be issued to your CampInTouch account.
Day Camp
A non-refundable Deposit of $50 per child, per session, is required with registration and will be credited toward the camp fee. The balance of fees is due two weeks before the first day of the session. There is no prorating of weeks and no refunds due to missed days.
If cancellation is made before June 1, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain 100% of the deposit and refund all other paid fees.
If cancellation is made on June 1st or after Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain 100% of the deposit and 50% of paid fees, and Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will refund 50% of all paid fees.
If a cancellation is made within two weeks of the start of the session 100% of the paid fees will be retained. If a camper is dismissed due to misconduct, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain 100% of the session fee.
