Financial Information

Assistance is awarded without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. Scholarships are available to day campers and residential campers for one session of camp per calendar year.

These funds are available due to the generous donations from supporters and friends of Phantom Lake YMCA Camp.

Camperships

Strong Kids Campership Application Process:

  1. Complete Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Registration Form—please register online at www.phantomlakeymca.org. When you get to the payment section you can choose pay by check option or you can put the deposit down with a credit card.

  2. Complete the Financial Assistance Application. It must be filled out COMPLETELY. Nothing can be left blank (one form per family).

  3. Include a copy of your most recent Fed Income Tax Statement (Only Pages 1 and 2 are needed) and 2 payroll check stubs with this application.

  4. Submit the Financial Aid form, paystubs and tax information within 5 days of submitting the camper application.

  5. Write a deposit check payable to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp: $50 for resident camp programs, $25 for day camp programs

  6. Submit items to office@phantomlakeymca.org

2027 Financial Assistance Application

What to Expect:

Executive Director, or a designee, based on a confidential review of the Financial Assistance Application, will determine financial assistance eligibility and you will be notified within 2 weeks of receiving your completed paperwork and deposit. Deposit checks will not be cashed until we have finished processing your request and have reached an agreeable scholarship amount. The YMCA reserves full right to refuse any applicant.

Required Information:

  • Completed Financial Assistance Application

  • Most recent Fed Income Tax Statement

  • 2 current payroll stubs

Other Information

  • This discount is available for both residential and day camp programs (see below). This discount will be automatically calculated at the end of the application, if completed before the program application deadline listed below.

    Residential Camp: $115 off tier of your choice. Camper applications must be complete by December 1 to qualify.

    Day Camp: $25 off each session. Camper applications must be complete by May 1 to qualify.

  • Multiple Session Discount - Residential Camp Program

    There is a $50 Multiple Session Discount that will be automatically calculated at the end of the camper application. The tiered pricing options will show when you choose a session.

    Sibling Discount - Day Camp Program

    We will deduct $50 for any additional sibling attending any session. We apply discounts manually after we receive the registration.

  • Residential Camp

    All camp fees including the deposit are Non-Refundable. A Non-Refundable Deposit of $125 per child, per session, is required with registration and will be credited toward the camp fee. All cancellations must be done in written email to the Business Manager (office@phantomlakeymca.org). 

    • If cancellation is made before May 1, all paid fees (except the $125 Non-Refundable Deposit) will be refunded.

    • If cancellation is made between May 1 and two weeks prior to session attending, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will refund 50% of all paid fees.

    • If cancellation is made within 2 weeks of the session, Phantom Lake YMCA camp will retain all paid fees.

    • In the event of cancellation due to misconduct of homesickness, Phantom Lake YMCA camp will retain all paid fees.

    Day Camp

    A non-refundable Deposit of $50 per child, per session, is required with registration and will be credited toward the camp fee. The balance of fees is due two weeks before the first day of the session. There is no prorating of weeks and no refunds due to missed days. All cancellations must be done in a written email to the Business Manager (office@phantomlakeymca.org).

    • If cancellation is made before June 1, all paid fees (except the $50 Non-Refundable Deposit) will be refunded.

    • If cancellation is made between June 1 and two weeks prior to the session attending, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will refund 50% of all paid fees.

    • If cancellation is made within 2 weeks of the session, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain all paid fees.

    • In the event of cancellation due to misconduct, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain all paid fees.
