Day Camp
Every day at Phantom Lake YMCA Day Camp is packed with adventure, friendship and personal growth. Campers grown in wisdom, confidence and character through hands-on experiences and meaningful connections. Each age group enjoys activities designed for their skill level, helping them discover new abilities, build teamwork, and have fun outdoors. In close-knit groups, campers can enjoy swimming, boating, ziplining, arts and crafts, sports, archery, and more.
Phantom Lake YMCA Camp is licensed through Waukesha County DCF. Our day camp programs meet the strict guidelines established by the state of Wisconsin. Campers must meet the age requirements by the first day they attend camp.

Camp Mini-Tyke is created for campers from 3 to 6 years of age.
Choose from either a morning program for your 3 to 4-year-old, or a full-day program for your 4 to 6-year-old.
Each child is grouped according to their age, which allows campers to participate in thoughtfully planned, age-appropriate activities. Campers must be completely toilet-trained.

AM Mini Tyke - $245 per week
8:30am - 11:30am (Half Day)

Full Day Mini-Tyke - $430 per week
8:30am - 4:00pm (Full Day)

Camp Zicahota is designed for those campers that are between the ages of 7 to 12 years old. Zicahota offers more challenges and experiences for this age group. Camp Zicahota is a full-day program with extended care options available for parents.
Note 12 year olds can choose between Camp Zicahota or Camp Nagi

Nagi Camp is designed for our oldest campers in the Day Camp program and offers exciting experiences tailored to their interest and maturity levels. Nagi campers will embark on thrilling adventures, such as boating across the lake and enjoying lunch at a sandbar. Additionally, this program includes Nagi Overnight, where campers will spend the night and participate in a variety of activities. These activities may include cooking dinner together over a campfire, swimming across the lake, and soaring through the sky at dusk on our zipline. This unique opportunity allows Nagi campers to bond with their peers, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories while enjoying the great outdoors.
Note 12 year olds can choose between Camp Zicahota or Camp Nagi

Our 2027 registration window is not here yet, but will be on its way soon. However, you can start to plan out your summer using the rates and dates listed below. Please note that our summer season schedule does look different than previous years so please pay extra attention to the dates and the sessions you would like.
Registration for day camp will be open starting January 1.

Schedules change depending on the day at camp and may vary given the weather. Our sample schedule is based on a typical day of camp. Each age group also has slightly different schedules to fit with their needs.

AM and PM Care is available for campers ages 7-13. Counseling staff supervise the children before and after the normal camp day hours to accommodate early drop-off and late-pickup needs.
AM Care (7:30-8:30am): $35 per week
PM Care (4:00-5:30pm): $45 per week

We will deduct $50 for any additional sibling attending any session. We apply the discounts manual after we receive the registration.

A Non-Refundable Deposit of $50 per child, per session, is required with registration and will be credited toward the camp fee. There is no prorating of weeks and/or no refunds due to missed days. All cancellations must be done in a written email to the Business Manager (office@phantomlakeymca.org).
If cancellation is made before June 1, al paid fees (except the $50 Non-Refundable Deposit) will be refunded.
If cancellation is made between June 1 and two weeks before the session attending, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will refund 50% of all paid fees.
If cancellation is made within 2 weeks of session attending, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain all paid fees.
In the event of cancellation due to misconduct, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will retain all paid fees.

Campers may request to be in the same group with 2 friends. If there are groups of more than 3, PLYC will decide groups at our discretion. Requests must be mutual and the campers must be in the same program and within one year of age.

Please have your camper bring the following items:
Water bottle
Lunch and snacks
Bag/backpack
Swimming suit and towel
Weather appropriate clothing
Closed-toed shoes for activities
Non-aerosol sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and insect repellent
Please label all items with your camper’s first and last name. See our Parent Handbook for more information and a list of prohibited items.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to come to camp. Financial assistance is available to for all camper families at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp.
