2027 Registration Opens Oct. 1 for High-Demand Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Residential Sessions

Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, the oldest YMCA Camp in the nation, announced it will open 2027 registration for residential camp sessions October 1. The 2027 residential camp season kicks off June 13 and runs through August 14. Each week presents a variety of options for co-ed, teen, girls, and younger camper overnight experiences.

Phantom Lake YMCA Camp offers a voluntary three-tier pricing program. Families choose the tier most suitable for their situation. Their choice is confidential and does not impact the program or experience.

“Our voluntary three-tier pricing system and financial assistance program allows us to provide quality experiences to as many campers as possible while working to ensure no child misses out for financial reasons,” Phantom Lake YMCA Camp CEO Jeff Spang said.

“Our ability to provide financial flexibility and assistance is made possible each year through ticket sales and sponsor contributions to our annual October fundraiser, known as The Hollows at Phantom Lake YMCA,” Spang added.

The Hollows is an annual ticketed event held on October weekends, when 15,000-plus visitors wind their way through the camp’s wooded trails illuminated with magical scenes composed of thousands of hand-carved Jack-o-Lanterns.

“The Hollows helps fund hundreds of scholarships for campers with challenges from physical to emotional to financial who would not otherwise be able to attend summer camp,” Spang said.
