Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Announces Volunteer Opportunity Coming Saturday, April 25
Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, the oldest YMCA Camp in the nation, announced it will host a volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, and community groups looking to get outdoors while helping prepare for summer camp season. The annual Spring Camp Clean Up Day will happen Saturday, April 25, 10am to 2pm.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for civic organizations, church groups, work teams, as well as families and individuals of every age and ability to get outdoors this spring, meet new people and get camp ready for kids this summer,” Phantom Lake YMCA Camp CEO Jeff Spang said. “Stay for an hour or for all four hours. Whatever time you can offer will help!”
The Spring Camp Clean Up Day to-do list includes (but not limited to) opening up seasonal buildings, cleaning out tents, and sprucing up the landscaping around camp. There’s plenty to do while enjoying time outdoors with friends you have yet to meet. Registration is easy at our sign-up link: www.phantomlakeymca.org/130th-anniversary
Volunteers will meet at the Carman Welcome Center at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp (S110W30240 YMCA Camp Road, Mukwonago, WI, 53149). Please email office@phantomlakeymca.org with questions.
