Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Hires Caeden Tollefsen As Director of Media & Marketing
MUKWONAGO—February 4, 2026—Phantom Lake YMCA Camp announced today it hired Caeden Tollefsen as Director of Media & Marketing. The oldest YMCA Camp in the nation, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp will celebrate 130 years of continuous operation this year.
“Caeden is a skilled communicator who collaborates well with individuals from varied backgrounds and locations around the world,” Phantom Lake YMCA Camp CEO Jeff Spang said. “Her experience and history with camp and understanding of our culture, which is built upon safety, stability, service and satisfaction will position our message well with all who make camp possible. Her skills will be crucial to promoting our culture with parents seeking a safe environment, campers expecting a fun experience, as well as staff, donors and volunteers who help us deliver a safe, stable, service-oriented organization designed to strengthen the community as a whole.”
The Director of Media & Marketing supports Phantom Lake YMCA Camp’s work to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The director develops and implements strategies to promote camp by creating content and executing campaigns that help achieve program growth goals.
“I’m looking forward to amplifying the mission of camp and expanding the reach of the Phantom Spirit to even more campers,” Tollefsen said. “Everyone at camp is focused on delivering on our commitment to safety, stability, service and satisfaction, and my role will help ensure we are getting that message out there to everyone who contributes to the success of camp.”
Tollefsen earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Sullivan School of Business and Technology at Carroll University. A long-standing member of the Phantom Phamily, she began attending camp in 2015, participated in the Staff Development Program and Youth Leader in Training Program, and, finally, became a summer staff member in 2022. Most recently, she served as camp’s marketing intern, developing marketing materials, coordinating volunteers for The Hollows at Phantom Lake YMCA, and adapting the current web design.
“Phantom Lake YMCA Camp is a place where kids can just be,” Tollefsen said. “There’s something special about the experience kids get here. It explains why we’ve been around for 130 years and why each summer our resident camps fill up quickly based on campers’ previous experiences here.”
